  1. Version 2.2. First full public release. This program has been included
  2. in my file trading archive JIM-ALL.ZIP for some time now, but this is
  3. the first time I have released it as a separate archive. I thought it
  4. might be useful to others. Operation has been enhanced.

  6. Version 2.3. Enhanced the programs operation reducing overhead
  7. and execution time, but not archiving time which is pretty constant.
  8. Updated the documentation adding more detail.
  9.  
  10. Version 2.4. Modified the messages or added more to the error routine.
  11. Corrected a possible error if run in the root directory. Most other
  12. changes were internal and not visible to the user.
  13.  
  14. Version 2.5. The program now turns off the "read only" attribute bit
  15. before it archives the files. Corrected the error messages so that
  16. the error number is correctly displayed. This was not true in all
  17. error exits. Changed the way the program displays the record number
  18. by adding the filename to the display. Some other display and internal
  19. changes.
